From Laureldale/Leesport and points north of Reading:
Take Interstate 78 west toward Harrisburg. Take exit 2, this will be for route 645. At the
top of the exit ramp turn right onto route 645. Camp Swatara is less than 2.5 miles on the
right. The Camp is well marked with a large sign over the drive.
From points south and west of Reading:
Take route 422 west toward Lebanon. At Meyerstown turn right onto route 501 north. Follow
route 501 to Interstate 78 and proceed west on 78 to the next exit, exit 2. Take exit 2
and at top of ramp turn right onto route 645. Camp Swatara is less than 2.5 miles on the
right. The Camp is well marked with a large sign over the drive.
From Northern Lancaster County:
Take route 897 west to Schaefferstown. At Schaefferstown turn right onto route 501 north.
Follow route 501 through Meyerstown to Interstate 78. Follow directions above.
Some time lines:
From Meyerstown it is aprox 15 minutes to the camp.
From Routes 897 and 272 in Lancaster County it is aprox 45 minutes to the camp
